About us – reifencom GmbH

reifencom GmbH is Germany’s multi-channel specialist for tyres and rims with a wide offer. In Germany alone there are 37 branches, the online shop reifen.com and 3,750 associated fitting partners who provide further services. reifencom GmbH is active with one further shop each and more than 4,160 cooperating fitting partners in France, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland. The product portfolio ranges from passenger car tyres and complete wheels via motorcycle as well as off-road and van tyres to accessories.

reifencom GmbH, merged from the companies of the tyre dealers Heiko Knigge and Olaf Sockel in Bielefeld and Hanover in 2001, both founded in 1989, merged with the joint purchasing company in 2018 to form "one" reifencom GmbH, which is now based in Hanover. At the end of 2015 the company was sold to Apollo Tyres Ltd, a major tyre manufacturer based in India.

reifencom GmbH is a member of the German Tyre Retail and Vulcanization Trade Association (Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e. V.).

Perfect Logistics

The focus has always been on perfectly functioning logistics, so that a high level of availability can be guaranteed even at peak seasons, such as spring and autumn.

This task is performed by the logistics centre in Hildesheim, which was built especially for this purpose.

In the central warehouse, more than 600,000 tyres and 200,000 rims await customers' orders on a total area of 42,000 square metres. At peak times, almost 60,000 tyres and rims are shipped from here every day.
